We use this everyday, it is a must whenever you want to work on your guitar carrying out maintenance, changing strings or any of those other fiddly jobs where you need an extra pair of hands!
 
Just slot the stands into their corresponding bases, resting the neck on the 'forked' section and the body of the guitar resting on the padded support at the other end and voila! - a 'handy' pair of extra hands!
